Project Ghoul Quest List
Every major kill-quest NPC, level gate, and sewer turn-in in one table.
Repeatable NPC quests are still the fastest honest climb in Project Ghoul. This page lists the quest givers players actually search for — Mark, Elisabeth, Joe, Pink, Jake, Champ, Hunter, and the Special Class Investigator — with community-reported level gates so you stop walking into a floor that refuses the dialogue. Pair it with the route notes in Level Up Fast and the map markers in Locations.
You can hold one active quest at a time. Accepting a new chain replaces the current one, so finish or abandon on purpose. After you spawn, the yes/no pop-up can drop an exclamation waypoint on the next legal tier; the Sense eye (bottom-right) also labels quest NPCs if you lose the marker.
Quest ladder (community gates)
Gates below come from long-running community tables (Fandom NPC list + GameSkinny route notes). GX Studios can move NPCs during Project Ghoul: re, so treat numbers as typical, not hardcoded UI text.
| NPC | Location | Typical gate | Objective |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mark | Anteiku | None | Defeat seven low-ranked ghouls outside the cafe |
| Elisabeth | Byrger Shot (north map, small restaurant) | Level 40+ | Defeat seven medium-ranked ghouls |
| Joe | Construction Site (northwest corner) | Level 90+ | Defeat seven strong-ranked ghouls |
| Pink | Parking Garage, floor 1 | Level 180+ | Clear seven low-ranked Aogiri (false crew) |
| Jake | Parking Garage, floor 2 | Level 300+ | Clear six medium Aogiri |
| Champ | Parking Garage, floor 3 | Level 400+ | Clear five high-ranked Aogiri |
| Hunter | Sewers (White Suits room) | Comfort 500+ | Clear White Suit investigators |
| Special Class Investigator | Sewers (opposite the gold NPC) | Endgame | Clear V’s Cleaners toward level 850 |
Anteiku’s first full clear often lands you near level 40 — that is Elisabeth’s door, not Pink’s. Mixing those two numbers is the most common reason players say “the garage quest is broken.”
How to accept, track, and turn in
- Talk to the NPC with a question mark.
- Confirm the kill count before you leave — Mark and Elisabeth want seven, Jake wants six, Champ wants five.
- Use Sense if the waypoint vanishes after a death or server hop.
- Return to the same NPC to turn in. Parking Garage floors do not share turn-ins.
- Repeat the highest tier you can finish in under a minute. Repeating a lower tier after you unlock the next one wastes XP.
Ghouls should click corpses after each pack so hunger and RC Cells keep pace. CCG skips eating but still needs the same kill quotas.
Anteiku and Byrger Shot
Mark stands outside Anteiku. Pick the lowest-level ghouls first; grouping the spawn circle and bursting with Z is faster than fair 1v1s. After several loops you should sit near level 40 and walk north to Elisabeth at Byrger Shot. Her medium ghouls hit harder — if time-to-kill stretches past a few seconds, spend one more Anteiku loop or dump skill points into damage as described in Getting Started.
The second combat skill usually unlocks around level 50, which is why Byrger Shot feels much smoother after that breakpoint.
Construction Site and Parking Garage
Joe waits on the corner of the Construction Site. Lure strong ghouls into empty buildings one at a time if the open lot overwhelms you. Completing this tier typically carries you toward level 180, which is Pink’s minimum.
Inside the garage:
- Floor 1 / Pink — seven Aogiri over level 200. Wall-clip pulls are a common community tactic; their hits clip too.
- Floor 2 / Jake — six medium crew members, level 300 door.
- Floor 3 / Champ — five high Aogiri, level 400 door. Your third skill should already be unlocked.
Do not skip floors to “save time.” Champ will not hand you the sewer key if Jake’s quota is still sitting unfinished on another character.
Sewers: White Suits and V’s Cleaners
Enter the manhole near Parking Garage, then follow the community path right → right → left → right → left → right, drop the tunnel, and talk to Hunter. White Suits often sit at level 500+. After that room, return to the tunnel exit and walk opposite the gold NPC to the Special Class Investigator for V’s Cleaners. Clearing that roster is how most accounts touch the level 850 cap.
Bring a party if solo kill times collapse. Open-world PvP is already live by this point (around level 150+), so treat crowded sewer servers as contested space.
Vendors that look like quest NPCs
Not every named NPC is a kill quest. Mark also appears as a spin vendor near the garage store. Uta sells Masks for Ghouls. Sasaki and Dave sit in CCG Headquarters for Arata and Quinque. Izanami at the bell tower is CCG-flagged with an unclear public purpose — do not burn a quest slot talking to vendors. Details live on Locations.
Weekend and code stacking
Quest XP is the one loop that scales cleanly with weekend +30% XP, Materials, and Yen. Redeem any live string on the Codes Hub after you are standing at the NPC, then run the highest legal floor. Timed boosts wasted in the menu do not count.
If a patch moves an NPC, check Trello and Discord before assuming this table is wrong. The remake can rename floors without changing the underlying ladder.
Bookmark this list, then jump back to Level Up Fast when you need grouping tactics rather than names.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for Project Ghoul players.
Who gives the first Project Ghoul quest?
Mark outside Anteiku. He asks you to defeat seven low-ranked ghouls. The quest is repeatable.
What level do I need for Parking Garage quests?
Pink on floor 1 typically wants level 180+, Jake on floor 2 wants 300+, and Champ on floor 3 wants 400+. Anteiku ending near level 40 is a different gate.
Can I hold more than one quest?
No. Accepting a new quest replaces the current one. Finish or abandon before you talk to the next giver.
How do I reach the sewer quests?
Enter the manhole near Parking Garage, follow right-right-left-right-left-right, talk to Hunter for White Suits, then walk opposite the gold NPC for V's Cleaners.
Do Ghoul and CCG share these quests?
Yes for the kill ladder. Both factions talk to the same NPCs. Ghouls still need to eat corpses; CCG does not.
Why will Pink not give me a quest?
You are probably under level 180 or still holding a Construction Site quest. Turn in Joe first, then talk to Pink on floor 1.
